Scrumbets stores a few items in your browser only to improve your experience:
- Display name — pre-fills when you join a room
- Avatar choice — your picked mascot for the participant list
- Participant ID — lets you reconnect after a brief disconnect without leaving the table
- Privacy consent flag — remembers that you've seen this notice
- Host coach dismiss — remembers you closed the first-run host guide
- Last host session id — remembers which room you created so the host coach can show for hosts only (not guests)
What we don't do:
- No advertising or third-party tracking cookies
- Session votes live in server memory and are cleared when the room expires
- Sign-in uses Waryway auth cookies only when you choose to sign in
You can clear stored data anytime via your browser settings (local storage for this site).
